The Diorama aquascape began as evolution of the Nature aquarium, its extra hardscape intensive and scale performs an enormous function of their design where you are attempting to duplicate a selected surroundings or panorama.

They require CO2 injection and heavy fertilization in order to thrive They are one of the most prune-heavy scapes to maintain due to the number of stem plants used They require more intense lighting than other scapes and shadowing is a concern due to stem plants. The Dutch Aquarium style does not imply the use of wood, rocks and other hardscape materials. The main focus is placed upon the growth and arrangement of aquatic plants. Traditionally, Dutch planted aquariums are compared to underwater gardens.

Iwagumi Aquascape
The Iwagumi term itself comes from the Japanese 'rock formation' and it refers therefore to a layout where stones play the leading role. Rocks provide the 'bony' structure of the aquascape and the traditional geography is a design made of three main stones, out of which one large headstone and two small others.

Jungle / Jungle Theme
This Japanese inspired aquascape is somewhat unruly. It mimics natural landscapes using rocks or driftwood as the its focal point. Just as the name of the style says it, the Jungle style aquarium depicts the wild, uncontrolled appearance of an untamed setting. This type of aquarium does not require everyday plant trimming. The plants are actually left to assume a natural look rather than a contrived one.
